• Lockheed Martin is seeking a Telephone Support Associate that will function as a Broadcast Support Analyst at a Global Broadcast Service Operations Center (GBSOC) supporting the 50th Wing Information & Communications Support (WICS) program at Schriever AFB CO and at the deployed location at Hill AFB Utah (annual exercise).
• You will support broadcast and service center requirements for Combatant Commands (CCMD) Theater Information Managers (TIMs), and GBS Receive Suite users down range.
• You will be responsible for providing the first tier level of support in responding to general receive suite application inquiries, specific questions concerning broadcast services and support, reporting incidents and managing problems through resolution.
• You will also be responsible for augmenting the Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) and other responsibilities within the WICS program as needed.

This position requires a security clearance or special access as set forth by the U.S. Government. Selected candidate will be required to meet certain citizenship requirements.

Job Qualifications

-Must be familiar with, or have prior education/training in, network, server, computer, satellite OR software systems/technology.

-Individual will be required to be DoD 8570 Compliant within 90 days of hire start date (Security + or equivalent certification).

-Must be dependable, well-spoken, and able to explain technical details and instructions over the phone.

-Must have great customer service skills and willing to work any shift.

-Active Secret security clearance

Job Skills

Prior service desk, call center, or broadcast center, experience.

Experience with deployable satellite communications systems and operating/maintaining Receive Suites and Satellite Broadcast Manager.

Understanding and experience with military circuit actions/tech-control or IT systems.

Detailed knowledge of Remedy or other Trouble Ticket Management systems.

Prior experience using Active directory and/or network and computer maintenance.

Prior experience with Microsoft SQL Servers and software application support across a distributed network.

Prior experience performing maintenance and operations of Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) systems to include DSCS, Milstar and experience with Air Force Job/Maintenance Control procedures.

A+, Network +, Security + certifications.
