In this role you will provide contract guidance for the Protected Communications business area within Lockheed Martin Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for a fast-pace, diverse work load and requires proficiency in identifying potential risk in contract terms, proposal development, and the ability to develop mitigation strategies.

The successful candidate must be familiar with contract interpretation, proposal preparation, claims, modifications, and the ability to demonstrate knowledge in government based contracts. Excellent interpersonal skills, business acumen, and outstanding oral and written communication skills are required.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. US Citizenship required.

Job Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to cultivate positive working relationships.

Negotiation and proposal development experience.

Willingness to travel to customer and program sites.

Job Skills

Working knowledge of Government contracting principles.

Solid understanding of the FAR and DFARS.

Strong customer interface experience.

Ability to multi task with commitment to key deadlines.
