Candidate will perform a variety of SAP ERP related business system production support activities with concentrations in various business processes. Candidate must apply knowledge of functional business areas in support of the business unit needs. This may involve system changes which will require development of requirements documentation including development specifications, development of implementation schedules, coordination of implementation of changes, and development and delivery of documentation. Also requires coordination of activities across business system applications and resources for problem research and resolution; completion of periodic system business-related tasks in support of financial, logistical, or other control goals; and review, control and implementation of configuration changes. Candidate will also support special projects such as SAP upgrades, patch updates, new implementations, and any related internal or external facing interfaces. Candidate will be part of the IT department and will work with the user community to ensure the software meets the needs of the contract. This includes, but is not limited to, configuration settings, and workflow / report design and support. All work performed is related to the Special Operations Forces Support Activity (SOFSA) contract in Lexington, Kentucky.

Lexington, is in the heart of the Bluegrass and is the second-largest city in Kentucky, known as the "Horse Capital of the World". Louisville is about a 90 minute drive to the east. Cincinnati, Ohio is about 2 hours to the north. Indianapolis, Indiana is about 3 hours to the Northwest. Nashville, TN is about 4 hours SouthWest.

Job Qualifications

Strong knowledge of large SAP full life cycle implementations.

Expertise in at least of the following: Supplier Quality Management, Quality Assurance/Control, Finance/Accounting planning, Manufacturing Resource Planning as it pertains to government contracting.

Basic knowledge the Aerospace and Defense sector, or with a company using SAP ERP Production Planning.

Firm understanding of software development life-cycle, and the implementation of user requirements into the environment via definition, testing, implementation and training.

Knowledge of SAP concepts and capabilities and aptitude to apply learnings to provide IT solutions.

Clear communication skills - ability to converse both technically and functionally

Job Skills

Experience with SAP ERP Requirements, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Quality functionality.

Experience with the SAP ABAP development language, or the SAP ABAP Query functionality.

Customer service focus

Exposure to one or more of the following SAP modules
• FI/CO - Finance/Costing experience
• SD - Sales and Distribution experience
• PS - Project Systems experience
