The Global Mobility Associate Tax Manager will be responsible for:
• Apply expertise to lead, influence, support, and execute on business decisions on behalf of the Global Mobility team
• Serve as an integrator and partner to the Global Mobility leadership team
• Contribute to the development and review of tax equalization and international assignment policies
• Lead internal reviews/audits of immigration and tax data, processes and policies
• Review tax returns and equalizations of expatriate employees
• Mentor, develop and coach staff
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment
• Manage resource allocation, workflow, and resource utilization
• Advise of tax requirements with experience spotting issues and providing solutions to remedy or enhance employee experience
• Provide subject matter expertise on complex compliance matters that arise as a result of mobile employee populations
• Develop strategies to mitigate risk and provide solutions while supporting the needs of the business
• Leverage internal stakeholders to identify process and policy gaps, emerging trends, draft policy and process revisions and assisting with the implementation of programs
• Ensure that our vendors and internal partners provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers and business stakeholders by leveraging internal shared services and outsourced partners for transactional activity
• Act as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to key business partners relating to Global Mobility data
• Partner with Global Mobility leaders on specialized projects with strategic focus on policy, vendor selection and performance management, stakeholder education, consultation, and advising, as well as implementing, maintaining and reporting on policy matters
• Competent in excel and HRIS tools and have the ability to provide quantitative data
• Ability to travel as needed 10-20%

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, international business, finance, economics, cross-cultural studies, or other liberal arts majors; ideally, with a related minor degree (for example, an accounting major and human resources minor)
• 5 years of experience working with internal transfers, global tax services and immigration, employment tax, global personal income tax compliance and consulting, global compensation, rewards, transactions, mobility consulting, and/or global talent strategy consulting
• Able to work within large, complex engagements and work efficiently and with a sense of urgency and possess strong analytical, consultative, quantitative and project management skills
• Strong executive presence, and excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills with an aptitude for working as part of a global team

Job Skills

• Master of Business Administration Degree or MA/MS
• Experience with HR information systems, and any other related programs useful for executing the above responsibilities
• Ability to effectively lead a team and build strong partnerships within corporation
• Demonstrates unyielding integrity and the ability to handle confidential tasks and information with the ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and multiple assignments
• Understanding of statistical analysis, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to gather and interpret data and information
• Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics)
• Experience working with vendors to support data quality needs for accurate reporting
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Preferred Accreditations: CPA or J.D./LLM, or Enrolled Agent, Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Global Mobility Specialist (GMS)
