Selected individual will become part of the Shop Floor Control Management team in Palmdale. Individual will be responsible for a group of subordinate employees providing support to one or more manufacturing areas at Plant 10. Individual must be a self starter, posses strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead and direct subordinates. Will utilize MRP (Material Review Processes), SAP, and Palmdale order location systems. Will attend / chair status meeting advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organization. At times will be required to lead / operate a war room for a specific program. Must be flexible, open minded and capable of managing multiple tasks. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an active secret clearance within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain higher level clearances as needed.

Job Qualifications
- Shop floor control experience
- Experience leading and directing subordinate employees
- Experience with manufacturing systems, such as PDM, MRP, SFM or EWI
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Leadership experience; must be a self starter, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Hands-on knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Elapsed Time Generated (ETG).
Knowledge of SAP, ERP4C, FOD Control Procedures, Tool Crib/Warehouse procedures
Experience working in a Union environment.
Demonstrated successful problem solving skills
Proven effective professional written/oral communication skills
Ability to interface with and present to multiple levels of leadership in the organization
