Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Lead/CAM for a position in Grand Prairie, TX working on missile defense systems. This position is a lead role that has representative areas of responsibility including creating, modifying and integrating digital models in a high fidelity simulation, analyzing simulation data to evaluate system characteristics and performance, and supporting continual enhancements to the simulation architecture. A strong understanding of missiles and fire control systems will be required. Applicants must have experience with leading small teams and project oversight. Duties will include risk management, Control Account Management, working with subject matter experts to develop engineering training material for a foreign customer, development of requirements for digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and verification of those requirements. Candidate must have strong skills in verbal and written communication and task organization. Occasional international travel is possible. Experience with C++ and Matlab is desirable. An ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required. Candidates should be able to perform well in a small, faced-paced team.

Job Qualifications

• Project oversight with Control Account Management experience.

• Experience with performance simulations of aircraft, radars or missile systems.

• Simulation modeling experience.

• Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Job Skills

Experience with the following:
• C++, Ada, FORTRAN, and MATLAB.

• Object oriented programming.

• Integration of simulation components in a HWIL environment.

• Algorithms for guidance, autopilots, and navigation for missiles.
