Program Manager (PM) for the Taiwan Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Black Hawk program. Contract scope of $120M that includes the development, test, qualification, and production of six NASC-6 aircraft deliveries as part of a sixty aircraft program, in-country retrofit, and sustaining support through Q3 2020. As the Taiwan program nears completion and the scope diminishes, the position will transition to concurrently lead a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program currently in negotiation.

The PM will lead the Integrated Program team (IPT) to achieve contract requirements while meeting business objectives to include: financial targets, quality specifications, and scheduled delivery dates. The position will require interface with the customer, the Utility Helicopter Program Office and other USG organizations. In addition, the PM has the responsibility for obtaining and directing necessary resources to ensure the success of the program(s).

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible and accountable for meeting all internal and external requirements for the Program(s), including financial, safety, quality, compliance and technical requirements.

Develop working relationships with customer counterparts, suppliers, Sikorsky Aircraft leadership team, and team members to ensure program success.

Serve as a key point of contact for all program and project requirements, program organization and reporting structure, work statements, schedules and risk management, finance and planning and control functions.

Manage contractual efforts using earned value processes to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.

Lead or support process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

Ensure appropriate talent is deployed on all programs and appropriate metrics for performance management are in place; support the team in defining solutions to both technical and non-technical issues.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9+ years of professional experience.

Job Skills

Experience with EVMS, SAP, Winsight Primavera a plus.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of senior leadership and external suppliers/customers and operate in a highly matrixed organization under the direction of the program manager.

Occasional travel to Taiwan (annually), Alabama (quarterly), and Florida (quarterly) required.
